The Onyx is a keypad-entry suite in a 1910 building on Main Street, Sheridan. There is no front desk, so a later checkout is arranged ahead of time — in set tiers, at a price you know before you decide.
Why 10:00 AM
Ten o’clock leaves six hours before the next arrival at 4:00 PM. In that window the full 2,200 square feet is turned: linens, kitchen, the bathrooms, a final walk-through, and a fresh entry code. On dates with no arrival that afternoon the window is wider, which is why a later checkout is usually easy to grant — and why it is always confirmed against the calendar first.
Four ways to leave later
Each tier carries a set time and a set price. The first needs no request at all; the rest are confirmed against the next arrival before they are approved.

Every tier past the grace period depends on whether another guest is arriving that day, so it is confirmed against the calendar before it is approved. The full-afternoon option is not offered on same-day-turnover dates.
Late checkout at The Onyx starts at no charge: the 30-minute grace period to 10:30 AM is complimentary. Beyond that, current draft pricing runs $50 for checkout at 12:00 PM, $95 for 2:00 PM, and $150 for 4:00 PM. These figures are reviewed before every stay; the rate confirmed with your request is the rate that applies.
Request late checkout through your guest portal, as early as you can — ideally before your stay begins, and no later than the evening before departure. Approval depends on the next arrival at The Onyx, so earlier requests are easier to say yes to. The 30-minute grace period to 10:30 AM does not need a request.
Unapproved overstays at The Onyx may be billed at an hourly or day rate, at Wyo Stays' discretion, to cover the cost of the next guest's turnover. The 30-minute grace period to 10:30 AM is always yours without asking; anything beyond it should be requested and confirmed in advance. Requesting ahead is the simpler path.
