Total occupancy in the suite cannot exceed six at any time, and quiet hours of 10 PM – 8 AM apply to everyone in the suite, visitors included.

Events and gatherings in the suites
Both suites are built for company: a real kitchen, two bedrooms, room for six. Dinner with friends, family in town, a colleague over for a drink — all of it is expected and welcome. What this page covers is the line between having people over and hosting an event, and the few rules that keep a building on Main Street a good neighbor.
House rules
- No unapproved parties or events. The suites are for the guests on the booking. Parties, events, and any gathering organized around the space rather than around the people staying in it are not permitted without prior written approval. Ask before you plan, not after.
- Visitors. Registered guests may have up to 2 additional visitors at a time without asking. More than 2 requires approval in advance. The suite’s maximum occupancy of six applies at all times.
- Quiet hours. Quiet hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. The building is a historic structure on Main Street and sound carries. Conversation is fine; music that reaches the street is not.
- Noise monitoring. Noise-monitoring devices are in use at the property. They measure sound levels in decibels only; they do not record audio or video and cannot capture what is said. If levels stay high, you will hear from us by text. This is standard practice for short-term stays, and it is disclosed here so there are no surprises.
Want to host something larger?
The Main Exchange is also available for private events, booked separately from a stay: dinners and celebrations, holiday parties, corporate retreats and workshops, micro-weddings, photo and film shoots. That is a different booking with its own terms, capacity, and planning, and it is the right way to bring a group through the building. Our events page has the details. A stay in The Onyx or a lease at The Aspen is not a venue booking, and the house rules above apply to it.

A gathering organized around the space, with more people than the visitor limit allows, is an event, and it belongs on a venue booking rather than a stay.
