Standard check-in is 4:00 PM. If you would like the suite sooner, an earlier arrival is available by request, in tiers, on the dates the calendar allows.
Why 4:00 PM
The Onyx is 2,200 square feet with two bedrooms and two and a half baths, and it turns over the same day the previous guest leaves at 10:00 AM. The hours between are a full clean, fresh linens, a walk-through, and the small things set before you arrive: temperature, lights, the note. Four o’clock is the time we can promise all of it is done, every time. When the night before is open, we can often do better, which is what the tiers below are for.
Early arrival options
Four tiers, from a complimentary buffer that needs no request to a full morning in the suite. Each is confirmed against the calendar; the earlier the arrival, the more it depends on the previous night being open. Pricing is confirmed at the time of request.

Common questions
Yes, by request and subject to the calendar. A short complimentary grace period applies to every stay without asking. Earlier arrivals are offered in tiers, each with its own time and fee, and the earliest tiers depend on the suite being empty the night before.
It depends on how early. The complimentary grace period costs nothing. Earlier tiers carry a flat fee that increases with the hour, with the full-morning option priced highest. Current draft pricing is listed on this page and confirmed when we approve your request.

Ask as early as you can, ideally when you book, and we will confirm whether the tier you want is open for your dates. Same-day requests are handled when the calendar allows, but the earliest tiers require advance notice.
The suite will not be ready before the confirmed time, and the keypad code will not be active until it is. Downtown Sheridan is a good place to wait: coffee, lunch, and Main Street are steps from the door. Text us when you are in town and we will let you know the moment the suite is ready.
No. Early check-in moves your arrival earlier than 4:00 PM. Late checkout extends your departure past 10:00 AM. They are requested and priced separately, and approving one does not affect the other. The departure side is covered in our late checkout policy.
